Data & Privacy Acknowledgment
Shown during onboarding · Alpha release
Argus records your Cowork sessions so you can review, QA, and improve the work your team and your implementations produce. Before you start, here's a quick, plain-language summary of how that works and who's responsible for what. It takes a minute to read.
You're in control of what's captured
During setup you choose how much is visible — whether the identities of your Cowork users are shown or anonymized, and how session content is handled (including redaction of sensitive text). You can also tag sessions, scope them to projects, or mark any session private so it's never stored. These settings are yours to configure, and you can change them at any time.
What you're responsible for
Because you decide what gets captured and how it's shown, you're responsible for making choices that fit your situation. That means:
- Choosing the right level of anonymity or visibility for the people whose sessions you capture.
- Making sure you're allowed to capture and review those sessions — for example, informing your team or clients where that's expected, and following any laws or agreements that apply to you.
- Reviewing the captured data and your privacy settings periodically to confirm they still match your needs.
In short: you own the decisions about whose data is visible and to whom, and you accept responsibility for those decisions.
What we're responsible for
On our side, we keep your data safe and private to you:
- It's stored securely and encrypted.
- It's scoped to your workspace and visible only to you and the people you explicitly invite.
- We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
- Redaction and opt-out tools are available so you can keep sensitive content out.
A note on alpha
Argus is currently in alpha. The product is still evolving, features may change, and it's provided “as is” without formal warranties while we test and improve it. These terms are a plain-language summary for the alpha period and will be replaced by full Terms of Service before general availability — we'll let you know when that happens.
Checkbox label. I understand how Argus captures my Cowork sessions, I'm responsible for the privacy and visibility settings I choose, and I agree to these alpha terms.
